Z.BOX designed by Zaha Hadid

Rove, the London-based gallery owned by Kenny Schachter, sent us photos of Zaha Hadid's Z.BOX installation at Art Basel Miami Beach.

Measuring 13 x 3 x 3 meters and weighing 6 tons, the installation was part of the Art Positions container exhibition in Miami Beach earlier this month.

The iron-framed, Styrofoam-covered installation was used to display Hadid's series of architectural resin models, which were commissioned by Schacht and will be sold as sculptures.

The container is also equipped with a plasma screen that shows animations of Hadid's architectural projects.

Hadid designed an apartment building for Schacht to be built in London's Hoxton Square, which will be Hadid's first permanent building in his home town.
