Swiss designer Fulgro introduced Bar Nestle, a pop-up cafe and lakeside terrace, at the Montreux Jazz Festival this summer.

This prefabricated, removable structure was commissioned for last year's festival and was used again this year.

Montreux Jazz Festival 2006

On the occasion of the 40th Montreux Jazz Festival, Nestlé took the opportunity to serve food and drinks at a lakeside bar.

We designed a platform from which one could enter the lake itself from the edge of the lake.

The staircase-like structure allows the maximum number of people to admire the view.

The bar is designed to look like a beach house on a station platform. One side of the roof opens to order at the bar.

At the same time, it can be a shelter in case of rain.

This project was inspired by a paper box that resembles a chocolate package.

The entire structure was conceived so that it could be reconfigured for the next two festivals.
