CEO/Creative Director/Founder
Focus: Business Development/3D Design Guidance
Experience: 25 years
David is responsible for the overall direction of the studio, day-to-day operations, coordination with 3D illustrators, and most importantly, providing creative guidance on projects.
Brainstorming with clients and staff to create inspiring imagery is at the heart of David's work.
When not working
David enjoys the outdoors, design, camping, and golf.
OUR HISTORY
Magpie 3D Design is a small full-service architecture and design studio specializing in new construction or interior design.
Founded in 2006 by David Johnson, Magpie 3D Design has become one of the fastest growing 3D architectural design studios in the United States.
David Johnson spent decades working in the architectural industry in New York State and saw firsthand how the needs of the client were often overlooked. He realized that working for these firms no longer fit his vision, so he set out to create his own studio to focus on their mission… to be the voice of the client.
