CEO / Creative Director / Founder

Focus: Business Development / 3D Design Direction

Experience: 25 Years

 

David steers the studio's overall direction and day-to-day operations. He also handles coordinating with our 3D illustrators and, most importantly, provides creative guidance on all projects.

 

A core part of David's job is brainstorming with clients and the team to create truly inspirational images.

David enjoys getting outdoors, design (of course!), camping, and playing golf.

Magpie 3D Design is a boutique, full-service architectural design studio that specializes in both new construction and interior design.

 

Founded in 2006 by David Johnson, Magpie 3D Design has grown into one of the fastest-growing 3D architectural design studios in the United States.

 

 

Our Mission: Being the Client's Voice

 

After decades in the architecture industry, David Johnson saw firsthand how client needs were often overlooked. Realizing that working for those big firms no longer aligned with his vision, he set out to create his own studio focused on one core mission: to be the voice of the client.

 

David and his team succeed by focusing on three key areas:
